​II. THE GUARANTEE
​1. 72-Hour Health Window: Seller guarantees puppy is in good health at the time of sale. Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed vet within 72 hours. If a life-threatening condition is found, a written vet report must be provided for a replacement or refund.
2. 1-Year Genetic Guarantee: Seller guarantees against life-threatening congenital defects (heart, liver, kidney failure) for one year from DOB.
3. The Los Reyes Standard: We do not breed any sire or dam with a history of cherry eye, hip dysplasia, or debilitating respiratory distress. We breed for functional health and clear breathing.
​III. EXCLUSIONS & LIMITATIONS
​1. Growth-Related Traits: Buyer understands that Bulldogs are a brachycephalic breed. This guarantee does not cover:

​Stenotic Nares (Pinched Nostrils): These can change as the head and muzzle widen during growth.
​Elongated Soft Palate: Minor snoring or "bulldog breathing" is common; surgery for palates is only covered if the condition is deemed life-threatening by two independent vets.
​Maintenance: Minor skin allergies or cosmetic issues are not covered.
2. Joint Health: While we breed for strong hips, Buyer is responsible for preventing obesity and avoiding high-impact jumping during the first 12 months of growth. Environmental joint damage is not covered.

​IV. RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL
​If the Buyer can no longer care for the dog, the dog must be offered back to Los Reyes Bulldogs. We are committed to ensuring our dogs never enter a shelter.
