At Los Reyes Bulldogs, we believe the journey to a new home should be as stress-free as possible. To ensure the highest level of safety, I personally hand-carry every puppy from our home in Oklahoma directly to your nearest major airport. Your puppy never leaves my sight and remains in the climate-controlled cabin with me at all times—we do not ship puppies in cargo.
1. Scheduling & Lead Time
Notice Required: Please allow a minimum of 14 days to coordinate flight schedules around our kennel and construction projects.
The "Sweet Spot" Window: To ensure the safest travel, puppies are typically scheduled for delivery between 8 and 11 weeks of age.
Flexible Delivery Days: We typically schedule our "Delivery Days" for Fridays or Saturdays to ensure the most efficient flight paths and same-day hand-offs.
2. Travel Requirements & Restrictions
The 20 lb Rule: Per airline safety regulations, the combined weight of the puppy and the travel carrier must be under 20 lbs.
Size Limits: The puppy must be able to comfortably stand and turn around in an airline-approved under-seat carrier (typically 10 inches high).
Age Limit: If a puppy exceeds these size or weight limits due to delayed scheduling by the buyer, in-cabin flight will no longer be an option, and the buyer must arrange alternative ground transport.
3. Fees & Payment Policy
Upfront Payment: All transport fees (Airfare + Airline Pet Fee + $150 Logistics Fee) must be paid in full before flights are booked.
The $150 Logistics Fee: This flat fee covers the "Los Reyes Experience," including my 5-hour round-trip drive to DFW, airport parking, and your Custom Welcome Kit.
Non-Refundable Policy: Once the airline tickets are purchased, the transport portion of your payment is 100% non-refundable. Any changes requested after booking may incur additional airline fees at the buyer’s expense.
Health Certificates: I provide the initial USDA-required Health Certificate at no cost. If a buyer reschedules and a new certificate is required, a re-certification fee will apply.
4. The Los Reyes "Welcome Home" Kit
Every hand-delivered puppy arrives with a custom kit to get you started:
Official Paperwork: Health certificate, shot records, and registration papers.
The Gear: A branded Los Reyes bag, color-matched leash, collar, and toy.
Travel Essentials: Puppy pads and waste bags for the ride home.
For the Owner: An exclusive Los Reyes "Legacy" T-shirt featuring our ABKC Champions (Apollo, Bella, and Berta). Please provide your shirt size when booking travel.
5. The Airport Hand-Off
Location: We will meet at the Arrivals/Baggage Claim area of your designated airport.
Punctuality: I often book return flights to Dallas within 2–4 hours of landing. Please be at the airport 30 minutes before my flight lands to ensure a smooth transition.
Note: I provide the professional carrier for the flight; please bring your own car seat or travel crate for the puppy's ride home from the airport.
How to Book Your Delivery:
Confirm your puppy selection and deposit.
Provide your nearest major airport and preferred delivery weekend.
Submit transport payment and your T-shirt size.
I will provide flight numbers and a confirmed meeting time within 48 hours of payment.
